This program is part of the Diabetes patient education series.

The education is split in to three main sections:

Condition – which includes Anatomy, What is diabetes?, Blood glucose control, Symptoms and Complications.

Treatment – Aims of treatment, Insulin treatment and Healthy eating.

Living With – covering topics such as Home blood glucose testing, Injection techniques, Treatment adjustment, Hypoglycaemia, Illness management, Sport, Driving, Travelling, Employment, Sex, Alcohol and many more.

There is also a Resources section which provides useful contact information and web links, and several printable leaflets.

With a range of animations this program is easy to use giving you a better understanding of Type 1 diabetes which will ultimately improve your quality of life.
