Education for patients and the public

This program is part of the Cardiology patient education series.

The education is split in to three main sections:

Condition – which includes The structure of the heart, The electrical activity of the heart, The blood circulation, Symptoms, What are palpitations?, What causes palpitations? and How are palpitations diagnosed and treated?

Living With – Living with palpitations (rhythm disturbances).

There is also a Resources section which provides useful contact information and web links, and several printable leaflets.

With a range of animations this program is easy to use giving you a better understanding of palpitations and heart rhythm disturbances which will ultimately improve your quality of life.
