Education for patients and the public

This program is part of the Cardiology patient education series.

The education is split in to three main sections:

Condition – which includes The structure of the heart, The coronary arteries, The blood circulation, Symptoms, What is heart failure?, What causes heart failure?, How is heart failure diagnosed? and How is heart failure treated?

Risk Factor Modification – Including General risk factor modification and Lipids.

Living With – Living with heart failure.

There is also a Resources section which provides useful contact information and web links, and several printable leaflets.

With a range of animations this program is easy to use giving you a better understanding of heart failure which will ultimately improve your quality of life.
