Education for patients and the public

This program is part of the Cardiology patient education series.

The education is split in to three main sections:

Condition – which includes The structure of the heart, The coronary arteries, Symptoms, What is a heart attack?, What causes a heart attack?, How is a heart attack diagnosed? and How is a heart attack treated?

Risk Factor Modification – Including General risk factor modification and Lipids.

Living With – Living with a heart attack.

There is also a Resources section which provides useful contact information and web links, and several printable leaflets.

With a range of animations this program is easy to use giving you a better understanding of a heart attack which will ultimately improve your quality of life.
