Open University using our Cardiology material

The Open University is now using our Cardiology education material in their Understanding cardiovascular diseases (SK121) course.
Course summary
This course provides an introductory overview of the diseases of the heart and circulation. It starts with an introduction to cardiovascular diseases and the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system. Students will study the risk factors and the patterns and methods of prevention of these diseases in a global context. The course text, case studies, and multimedia will all show students the characteristic symptoms and pathology of peripheral vascular and coronary heart disease; their diagnosis using a variety of techniques; and subsequent medical, surgical and lifestyle management. The course will appeal to you if you�re a patient, health care worker, work in a profession allied to medicine, or just have a general interest in the subject.
The course has two presentations per year, one in September and the other in May.
